Deer antler chandelier shows your love for hunting and gives a room character. It’s also a great way to express creativity. Male deer shed their antlers each year, and because the horns are hollow, they make a great material to create a custom chandelier lamp. You want to collect or buy several poles of similar size; the amount will depend on the desired size chandelier.
Instructions to make deer antler chandelier: clean the outside and inside of the shafts with oil soap and a rag. Let it dry. Apply two coats of polyurethane to protect the horns. Allow it dry. Drill holes through the edges of the horns. Place them in a circle and take the picture wire between them to secure them together. Drill holes in the ends or tops of poles for each light socket.
Follow the instructions on the kit chandelier, electrical wiring run in the horns for each light socket. Place the chain antler with small screws. Attach additional antlers half the length of the chain, if you prefer. Fill in the gaps with brown clay. Let dry.
